Peter B. King, with almost 30 years’ experience litigating complex commercial matters, now serves as a Florida Supreme Court certified circuit civil mediator and in other neutral roles.
Peter King is a Florida Supreme Court Circuit Civil Certified mediator, providing services throughout the State of Florida and across the country. He has practiced law since 1995, focusing on a wide variety of commercial litigation matters. He is known nationally for his experience in litigation and arbitration of disputes involving the financial services community, as well as regulatory enforcement and other regulatory and compliance issues. Throughout his career, Peter has been a solution-oriented problem solver who has sought creative ways to achieve negotiated resolutions as an alternative to the costly process of litigating through trial.
As lead counsel, Peter has represented hundreds of clients through often high-stakes disputes and has tried dozens of cases. As an advocate, he has advised clients through hundreds of mediations. Now, as a mediator, Peter’s experience provides him with perspective that parties often find helpful in their own process of self-determination through mediation. Peter brings a high level of engagement and preparedness to each mediation.
