PETER B. KING
Peter B. King, with almost 30 years’ experience litigating complex commercial matters, now serves as a Florida Supreme Court certified circuit civil mediator and in other neutral roles.
Prior to his mediation practice, Peter was a founding member of a commercial litigation law firm from 2009 to 2023 which at its peak had a team of 18 lawyers. Prior to that, Peter was a shareholder in one of Florida’s largest and most highly regarded law firms where he played an integral role in the development of a nationally recognized practice in securities and financial services litigation and regulatory enforcement. He has appeared in state and federal courts in Florida and other states, and various arbitration forums such as FINRA, AAA, and others.
Peter is AV Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers of Florida, and Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite. He is a long-time member of the Board and is a past president of the Federal Bar Association, Tampa Bay Chapter, and remains active. He received his law degree from West Virginia University (Order of the Coif; Order of Barristers), and his undergraduate degree from University of South Florida (B.S., Finance).
